Experience

This site runs on Cloudflare, and so do several of my projects. I have written practical guides on the platform, including generating presigned URLs with R2 and deploying a Remix app across SST and Cloudflare, both of which came out of real project work.

Questions

When is Cloudflare the right choice?

When you want low latency around the world, predictable low costs, and a simple deployment story. It is a great fit for APIs, content sites, and full stack apps. For workloads that need long running servers or heavyweight databases, I will tell you honestly when a traditional cloud fits better.

Can you migrate our app from AWS or Vercel to Cloudflare?

Yes. I map the existing pieces to their Cloudflare equivalents, migrate incrementally, and keep both stacks running until the cutover is safe. Storage moves to R2 are often the quickest win because egress fees disappear.

Do you work with Workers, R2, and D1 specifically?

Yes, those plus KV, Pages, Queues, and the surrounding tooling like Wrangler. I follow the platform closely and use it for my own projects, so I know what is stable and what is still rough.
